Reloaded Sounds are a brand new label based in Nottingham aiming to release sounds from the underground spectrum. Fork and Knife is a producer from London, his style fitting into the grey area of club music that takes inspiration from grime and funky. His previous records have seen him link up with MCs like SBK and Killa P – creating hybrid styles that offer something a little bit different from the usual when it comes to grime.

There is one element that defines ‘Kashmere Stag’ – the percussion line. Nimble in the opening minutes and providing weight in the build up, it eventually builds into a gargantuan force by around the two minute mark. Not content with just a single switch up, Fork and Knife turns the track on its head toward the end, dropping intense drums that really drive the track through the speakers. All sorts of bugged out glitches and stabs do their thing on the top, the track being a perfect choice for Reloaded Sounds’ debut release. Download it for free, here.

I'm the sole founder, editor and writer for The Art Of Grime. I love grime and want to push all the sick artists doing things at the moment.
